News from the Spa Pavilion

From terrific tributes to filthy fairytales, there's something for everyone at Felixstowe's award- winning Spa Pavilion Theatre this month. With their new booking system working well, which allows freedom of choice for everyone (both those who wish to remain seated, and those who like to stand and dance), whilst ensuring that all can enjoy the show ... there’s never been a better time to enjoy some live entertainment at one of the area’s loveliest theatres.

On Saturday 11th May, you'll be “Dancing on the Ceiling”, with 'Endless Love' – The ultimate tribute to Diana Ross and Lionel Richie. This show is packed with Motown classics, and promises to be an electrifying, joyful and emotional rollercoaster!

Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, and Elvis will be celebrated in an uplifting Rock 'n' Roll show, on Sunday 19th May: 'We Three Kings of Rock 'n' Roll'. Darren Page plays Roy Orbison; Marc Robinson will be donning the horn-rimmed glasses, as Buddy; and Steve Halliday, from the ‘BBC Elvis Show’, takes the crown to pay tribute to The King himself!

For BIG boys and girls: 'Cinderella for Adults' is coming to town, on Thursday 23rd May. Rated 16+, this naughty pantomime will have you rolling in the aisles! This is the night out you've been waiting for – Like Prince Charming himself, you'll have a ball!

On Saturday 25th May, the Man in Black is back! 'Johnny Cash Revisited' stars the supremely talented Rick McKay – alongside Jodie McKay, with her amazing homage to June Carter Cash. Dave Roe, bassist with The Tenessee Three, said: “I would recommend this show to anyone – from die hard old Johnny Cash fans to newcomers who want to hear the real deal”.

Finally: For a very special matinee show, at 3PM on Friday 31st May, it's 'The Spirit of the Blitz' – paying tribute to the legendary stars who kept us smiling through our darkest days, and marking the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. This feel-good show recreates all your forties favourites, for a truly heartwarming afternoon of live music, laughter and reminiscence while also paying tribute to all those who served.
