Emily Cresswell’s Photographic Experience

Local gal, Emily, is here to talk about her photographic journey and share some lovely pictures with us all…

I have an extensive background in photography, spanning numerous years, during which I have consistently shared my photographic works across both personal and public social media platforms, as well as within the Trimley Facebook community.

My photography process typically involves capturing a multitude of images during a single outing, followed by a meticulous selection of the most exceptional shots. Subsequently, I invest a considerable amount of time in the post-processing phase to impart the final touches to my photographs. This task becomes particularly demanding when I have been traveling, as I often accumulate a substantial collection of images and videos, sometimes exceeding a thousand, which I must distill down to a mere thirty, thus presenting a notable challenge.

Over the years, my photographic journey has been supported by my use of Huawei devices, initially with the P20 Pro, and more recently, the Huawei P30 Pro, both of which have greatly enhanced my ability to capture and refine my creative visions.

My passion extends beyond photography to the exploration of culinary experiences. I relish the opportunity to dine out and savor diverse culinary offerings, such as crocodile, which I had the pleasure of tasting at Shaka Zulu in London several years ago, and pheasant, enjoyed during my recent excursion to Budapest.

One of my most cherished photographic compositions features a delectable duck dish enjoyed at the renowned Savoy Grill, a Gordon Ramsay restaurant located within The Savoy Hotel.

Additionally, I have successfully captured the captivating essence of Trimley St. Mary, where a beautiful sunset served as the canvas for my artistic vision. Afterward, I dedicated a few moments to refining the image, resulting in a captivating visual representation.

In my creative process, I approach every subject with the belief that it possesses inherent photogenic qualities, emphasising the significance of one's perspective and technique in capturing its unique style.

Thanks for reading,
Emily 😅
