"Oh Robin You are So Dear ", Poem by Sarah Lou Cawdron

Oh robin, you are so dear,
Your feathers bright and clear.
In the trees, you sing your song,
A melody that's long.

Your wings, they take you far,
To fields of green and stars.
You chirp and tweet with glee,
A symphony.

Your eyes, they sparkle bright,
Like jewels in the light.
You flit and flutter by,
A wondrous sight.

Oh robin, you are so dear,
A treasure to hold near.
In the garden, you do play,
A joyous display.

Your beak, it's sharp and fine,
To snatch a worm in time.
You hop and skip with grace,
A nimble pace.

Oh robin, you are so dear,
A treasure to hold near.
A symbol of spring's cheer,
A joy to hear.
