"Moonlight Reflects Over the Sea" Poem by Sarah Lou Cawdron

In the moonlight, the sea glimmers with glee,

A sight to behold, a beauty to see.

The waves dance and sparkle, a shimmering spree,

As the moon's rays kiss the ocean's knee.

The tides ebb and flow, a soothing serenade,

The moon's gentle light, a lover's shade.

The stars twinkle bright, a celestial show,

As the moonlight reflects over the sea, you know.

The sea's vast expanse, a mirrored gleam,

Reflecting the sky, a dreamy scheme.

The moon's beams, a silvery sheen,

A magical sight, a serene scene.

The waves caress the shore, a soothing embrace,

As the moonlight reflects over the sea, a grace.

The world is quiet, a peaceful reprieve,

In the moonlight, the sea's gentle relief.
