I am a Suffolk landscape painter who creates semi abstract explorations of coastal landscapes and Suffolk skies.
 

Following on from my recent show ‘Emergence’ in Woodbridge, which explores the transition between winter and spring, this collection sees some of the early spring works hung alongside breezy scenes drenched in spring light - with hopeful notes of a Suffolk summer.

I grew up on the Suffolk borders and trained in London in the 90’s as a painter and printmaker. I have been a working artist and art educator since then, and am current head of art at the Royal Hospital School. I have always explored the environment around me and am fascinated by the play of light in spaces.
