A Fashion Show Extravaganza

A Fashion Show Extravaganza

incorporating an affordable shopping experience all under one roof Tuesday 8th November River of Life Church & Conference Centre 2 Carr Rd, Felixstowe IP11 2FS

The evening will be a high-profile event featuring professional compares and International Soprano – Christina Johnston.

The River of Life venue, has capacity for us to sell 400 tickets as well as host dozens of stalls. This event will showcase Felixstowe fashion suppliers, promoting winter and festive outfits for the whole family covering all budgets, as well as considering sustainability. The side stands will also be local businesses, providing them with an opportunity to show and sell a variety of products falling into either fashion, beauty, homewares or festive seasonal type goods. In fact we have already booked several stall holders and are about to publicise the event as ‘coming soon’ via social media and the Autumn Felixstowe Town Council Magazine.

Not One but Eight Sponsorship Benefits:

  • Positive PR - As part of the Mayor’s Charity group this event will attract a lot of publicity through social media, radio and press coverage. In addition, on the night there will be large screens showing the logos of those businesses that are able to provide support and sponsorship.
  • Community Engagement – giving back to our community, providing an opportunity for local people to reconnect with each other after the stress of the last two years affected by Covid
  • Economic Development – providing an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their goods and trade on the night supporting our local economy
  • Sustaining the Environment – in this throw away fashion society it is important to recycle, repair or reinvent fashion items. We are proud to bring to the catwalk a charity showcasing upcycled fashion and reimagining our wardrobes.
  • Supporting People though the Cost of Living Crisis – The Compass Charity supports people in poverty and need and they are already feeling the pressures of the cost of living crisis as it affects more and more local people, overwhelmed by rising costs.
  • Preserving a Treasured Community Asset – Felixstowe Community Hospital has just celebrated 113 years. With a growing population we may need it more than ever, so it is vital that we support our local health facility and associated health care staff.
  • Supporting Families in Need – Felixstowe Opportunity Group (FOG) supports children with special needs, particularly children pre-school affected by the isolation caused by Covid. These children need to learn how to socialise and communicate with other children before starting school. FOG also provides a safe haven for mums to socialise and support each other through difficult times. More recently, FOG has also extended its support to older people, lonely and isolated by providing facilitated coffee and craft sessions.

How you can support this event?

As a local business yourself, we would like to highlight the ways in which you may be able to help support this event:

  • Gold Level - Sponsorship - An event of this scale obviously comes with costs in setting up and we are keen to seek sponsorship to cover advertising, lighting, ticket printing, venue hire, refreshments and other associated costs – no sum will be considered too small
  • Silver Level - Tickets – This may be the kind of event that you or your staff may like to attend and as such you may wish to make a corporate booking? Tickets will be (£12.50/head) with a drink on arrival
  • Bronze Level - Raffle Prizes – We are running a series of events through the year and raffles help us raise funds. Even if a prize is not used at this fashion show it could be used at one of our other events and will always be acknowledged
