Felixstowe’s Duck Race will be held on Sunday 23rd July 2023 at 3pm on the Promenade near the Pier on Felixstowe Sea front.
Duck, Duck, GO!! Will your duck stand treacherous seas and come out victorious in this race to help Felixstowe Sea Cadets fundraising efforts.
Felixstowe’s Duck Race is going to be one of the highlights of the year, and a great way to spend the afternoon! These little yellow ducks are speedy, will you pick the winner?
At 3pm on July 23rd 3,000 numbered ducks will launch into the sea and race for the beach. The Duck that reaches the beach first wins!
Purchase your ducks in advance from She Sells Seashells in Felixstowe, Eventbrite or buy them on carnival weekend from the Sea Cadets gazebo on Felixstowe prom.
Cadets will be present to help motivate the ducks and help those that need some extra help!

Money raised will aid Felixstowe Sea Cadets, which offers opportunities to local young people on and off the water, helping to boost their confidence and self-belief. Young people aged between 10 and 18 can enjoy activities ranging from sailing and kayaking, rowing to rock-climbing and catering, while earning nationally-recognised qualifications.
Quackers said: “I am delighted to be taking part in this event; the training has been tough but I cannot wait to get paddling. Sea Cadets offers so much to young people, and I cannot think of a better cause to raise money for.”
