This year we are thinking about all those favourite musicals we have sung along to and have entertained us for years on both film and stage.
The Carnival weekend is Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd July 2023.
Start your Carnival weekend on Friday evening with a live swing band on the main stage in the beach side events area. Bring a picnic and enjoy our proms concert. We will provide the flags!
Saturday starts with our traditional procession 1pm and moving through the town to the seafront on our normal route. The Carnival continues Saturday and Sunday on the seafront.
Between our main stage and the family area there is something for everyone to enjoy and all the entertainment is free. Don’t forget to meet the Dinosaurs, visit our craft fair in the Leisure Centre, the beachside traders and our food court and bar.
We will finish the weekend with a spectacular Fireworks display at 10pm off the pier.
Make sure you pick up our free programme for full details of the weekend and don’t forget we need your donations to keep this a free to all event in the future. If you can spare us something extra to keep our annual tradition going. We would really appreciate it so look out for those buckets, our donation station for tapping those cards and new for this year we are embracing technology so have a QR code for donations and those latest times.
