We were recently sent this lovely article from proud mum of 3 year old, Alanna. This little gem has been setting an example to all by litter-picking on the beach!

Recently with being isolated with just her parent, Alanna, mummy and daddy have taken an early walk along the prom most days and started to clear up mess that people have made. Alanna really enjoys it and the thought of protecting animals and raising awareness on the affects of not clearing up after yourself is something she’s really interested in. 

Alanna is a very cheeky and outgoing little girl who has absolutely loved being apart of Litter-Free Felixstowe, she has filled many bags now and she claims to be an “expert” at what she does. Since her parents posted photographs of Alanna’s litter-picking adventures, lots of people have joined in too!

When asked why she wanted to keep Felixstowe clean, Alanna said:

“It’s really really important because the animals will get poorly and I don’t want to play on a yucky beach, so we have to keep it all clean and shiny.”
