There are several ways for people to relax, massage, spa treatments, meditation. Yoga, chanting is another great way to clear your mind, but if you are not that way inclined and you are looking for a quick and easy way to achieve relaxation I show my clients an instant and a very efficient technique. Simply sit wherever you are (work, home, bus etc). Put your hands on your thighs turn your palms up, you will feel your shoulders automatically drop, your eyebrows will drop, you will feel your jaw drop and relax easily and instantly, allow gravity to flow down through your whole body from the top of your head right down to your feet. Notice how relaxed you have become now. Let’s relax deeper now. Either close your eyes or focus your gaze, now inhale through your nose cleaning out stagnant energy, blow out through your mouth as if you are blowing up a balloon until there is no more air in your body. You will do this 3 times. On the third breath out relax your breathing. Now just remain relaxed for as long as you desire.
P.s if you want to introduce happiness into your relaxation, imagine you have a photo album in front of you with ALL of your best images pick one at a time and feel how you felt, immerse yourself in the memory and enjoy that moment again. You can finish the experience with a self love mantra 🕉 which I use frequently 🙏🏻put your hand on your heart 💝 and say to your self “I love my heart with all my heart 💝 I am grateful 🙏🏻 I🕉I personally practice the 3 deep breath technique before I go to sleep and first thing in the morning every day, I find it useful, it’s great to end the day with. And start the new day with. 💝 yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present 🎁
