Coronation! - Felixstowe Museum
As King Charles III is crowned, this new exhibition at Felixstowe Museum recalls how we celebrated Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation 70 years ago. View documents and artefacts related to the event, plus see the amazing gold State Coach model made by the late Arthur Dolman of Ipswich. A labour of love, the model took eight years to complete. Normal admission charges for the Museum apply.

Felixstowe Museum have a weekend of Coronation activities to enjoy. They will be showing a live streaming of the Coronation on Saturday 6 May, then on Sunday 7 May a street party and sing-a-long, followed on Monday 8 May with a volunteer litter pick. The Beehive Cafe will be serving up a Royal Afternoon Tea from Thursday 4 to Monday 8 May with sandwiches, crisps, a fruit scone (with jam and clotted cream), cupcake and hot drink for £12.95 per person.
